Bart Conners is back on another case. Again, this investigation leads him to Ireland where he attempts to regain ownership of a racehorse for a client who has lost the horse in a blackmail scheme. His client is concerned about the ill-treatment that thoroughbreds often face as greedy owners push them beyond the limits of their ability at a young age. Across the globe, hundreds of horses die annually, mostly from leg injuries. Bart’s client is determined to save a horse he has raised and trained since birth from such misfortune. In the end, the horse has a surprise in store for everyone concerned.
